Presented in the garden of Casa Lin during Art Basel, this site-responsive installation was both a continuation of the surrounding landscape and an investigation of its discontinuity. Six sheer household curtain panels were sewn together and spray-painted with silhouettes of Florida palms, creating a subtle camouflage that allowed the work to blend into the garden.

Hung along the fence separating Casa Lin from the neighboring property, the curtain marked a fixed boundary while also softening and obscuring it. As the fabric took the form of the passing wind, it created a perpetually changing view and gave visible shape to an otherwise invisible force.

The work moved between stable structure and dynamic appearance, artificiality and naturalness, design and control, and unbound randomness, producing a shifting, picturesque illusion.
